The HARVEY TOOL 72059 is a solid carbide square end mill designed for precise material removal in tight-tolerance machining operations. With a cutting diameter of 0.0590 inches and a 2-flute geometry, this tool is built for small-feature milling where rigidity and edge sharpness are critical. The 30-degree helix angle promotes efficient chip evacuation and smooth cutting action. It arrives in a bright, uncoated finish, making it suitable for a range of non-ferrous and ferrous materials where coating is not required. Machinists and tool-and-die professionals typically specify this end mill for CNC milling applications requiring fine detail work at small diameters.
This end mill is intended for use in CNC machining centers, manual mills, and precision grinding setups where small-diameter tooling is required. The 0.125-inch shank diameter fits standard collets and toolholders designed for 1/8-inch shanks. With a length of cut of 0.177 inches and an overall length of 1.5 inches, it is well suited for shallow slot milling, profiling, and detail work in prototype, production, and tool-and-die environments. Centercutting capability allows for plunge milling operations where required.
Designed for use in CNC milling machines and manual mills equipped with standard 1/8-inch collets or toolholders. Compatible with setups where a right-hand cut, right-hand flute, single-end square end mill is specified.
Installation and tool changes should be performed by qualified machinists with the machine fully powered down and locked out per applicable safety procedures. Ensure the collet and toolholder are clean and free of debris before seating the 0.125-inch shank. Do not exceed the recommended depth of cut for the diameter and material being machined. Inspect the cutting edges for wear or chipping before each use, as small-diameter carbide tooling is brittle and sensitive to improper handling.
