The HARVEY TOOL 72016 is a miniature square end mill designed for precision machining in tight tolerances and small-feature applications. Built from solid carbide, it measures 0.0160 inches (0.40 mm) in cutting diameter with a 0.048-inch length of cut and a 1/8-inch shank diameter. Overall length is 1.5 inches. The 2-flute, single-end geometry with a 30-degree helix angle promotes efficient chip evacuation in small slots and pockets. Centercutting capability allows direct plunge entry. This tool is installed and run by machinists and CNC operators working on precision components across a range of materials.

The 72016 is suited for milling steel, stainless steel, cast iron, aluminum and non-ferrous alloys, and carbon fiber reinforced polymer (CFRP) materials.
