The HARVEY TOOL 54745-C3 is a single-end chamfer mill designed for deburring, chamfering, and edge-breaking operations on ferrous and non-ferrous materials. Built from solid carbide, it delivers the rigidity and wear resistance required for precision work in production and job-shop environments. The cutter head measures 1/16 inch in diameter with a 90-degree included angle and a length of cut of 0.031 inches. An AlTiN coating extends tool life in high-temperature cutting applications. This tool is installed and used by machinists and CNC operators working on milling machines and machining centers.
The 54745-C3 is suited for chamfering tight-tolerance features, deburring cross-holes, and producing consistent edge breaks on small-profile workpieces. Its compact 1/16 inch cutter diameter makes it appropriate for fine detail work where larger chamfer mills cannot reach. The right-hand cutting direction is standard for conventional spindle rotation. With a 1/8 inch shank diameter and 2-1/2 inch overall length, it fits standard collet chucks and tool holders common to CNC and manual milling setups.

Installation is performed by machinists or CNC operators. Ensure the spindle is fully stopped and the machine is powered down before loading or changing tooling. Secure the 1/8 inch shank in a matched collet or end mill holder and verify runout with a dial indicator before beginning a cut. Follow machine manufacturer torque specifications for drawbar and collet nut tightening.
