The HARVEY TOOL 46025 is a solid carbide corner rounding end mill designed to produce precise edge radii on machined components. With a 0.02 mm (0.0250 inch) corner radius and a 1/8 inch mill diameter, this double-end tool delivers consistent, repeatable results on ferrous and non-ferrous materials. Micrograin carbide construction provides hardness and wear resistance suited to high-speed, finish-quality applications. The bright/uncoated surface finish makes it a reliable choice when coating interactions with the workpiece material are a concern. Machinists and toolroom technicians rely on tools like this for edge-breaking, deburring, and contour blending operations on precision parts.
This end mill is used in CNC milling and manual toolroom applications where controlled corner radii are required on part edges, shoulders, or slots. It is appropriate for light-duty passes on aluminum, brass, plastics, and softer steels. The double-end configuration extends usable tool life by providing two cutting ends per shank. The 1/8 inch shank diameter fits standard collet systems on vertical machining centers, CNC routers, and die-sinking setups. Right-hand cut and right-hand flute geometry match conventional climb and conventional milling strategies on most CNC platforms.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or direct substitute within the HARVEY TOOL Corner Rounding End Mills 2 and 4 Flute Unflared series. Fits any machine tool spindle or collet system accepting a 1/8 inch shank diameter.
Installation should be performed by a qualified machinist or toolroom technician with the machine spindle fully stopped and the control in an e-stop or lockout/tagout state per applicable shop safety procedures. Seat the shank fully into the collet or end mill holder and torque the retention hardware to the machine manufacturer specification. Inspect the cutting edges for chips or damage before each use. Do not exceed the manufacturer recommended depth of cut or feed rate for the selected workpiece material.
