The HARVEY TOOL 45320-C3 is a double-end corner rounding end mill designed for precision edge profiling on ferrous and non-ferrous workpieces. Built from solid carbide and coated with AlTiN (aluminum titanium nitride), it handles high-heat cutting environments where tool life and finish quality matter. The 0.50 mm corner radius and 2-flute geometry make it suited for producing consistent, repeatable edge breaks on machined components. This tool is installed by machinists and toolroom operators running CNC milling centers or manual mills requiring tight radius control.
This end mill fits standard 1/8 inch collets and is appropriate for use on hardened steels, stainless, titanium, and similar demanding materials where AlTiN coating provides oxidation resistance and thermal stability. The double-end configuration extends usable tool life, offering a second cutting end when the first shows wear. Typical applications include aerospace, medical device, and precision die-mold work where edge geometry must meet tight dimensional tolerances.
Designed for use in standard 1/8 inch collet systems on CNC and manual milling machines. Part of the HARVEY TOOL Corner Rounding End Mills - 2 and 4 Flute - Flared series.
Installation and tool changes should be performed by qualified machinists with the spindle fully stopped and machine in a safe, locked-out state. Ensure the collet and collet nut are clean and free of chips before seating the shank. Do not exceed the tool manufacturer's recommended speeds and feeds for the workpiece material and coating type. Handle solid carbide tooling carefully to avoid chipping the cutting edges during storage and changeover.
