The HARVEY TOOL 44250-C3 is a solid carbide corner rounding end mill designed to produce consistent radius profiles on metal workpieces. With a 1/4 inch corner radius and a 3/4 inch mill diameter, it cuts a precise curved edge geometry used in die and mold work, aerospace components, and general precision machining. The 4-flute configuration delivers smooth finishes and efficient chip evacuation. An AlTiN coating provides elevated heat resistance and extended tool life in ferrous and hardened materials. The double-end design offers two usable cutting ends per tool, extending value in production environments. This tool is installed and run by machinists and CNC operators working in job shops and manufacturing facilities.
This corner rounding end mill is suited for use in vertical machining centers and CNC milling setups where edge-breaking and radius profiling are required on steel, stainless steel, titanium, and similar hard materials. The AlTiN coating makes it particularly effective at elevated cutting speeds and in dry or minimal-lubrication machining strategies. The double-end configuration is common in shops running high-volume production where tool change frequency is a cost factor. A 1/4 inch tip diameter allows access to smaller features while the 3/4 inch shank provides rigid tool holding in standard end mill holders and collet chucks.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement and standard production end mill for CNC vertical machining centers and manual knee mills accepting 3/4 inch shank tooling. Part of the Harvey Tool Corner Rounding End Mills - 2 and 4 Flute - Unflared series.
Installation is performed by a machinist or CNC setup technician. Secure the shank in a clean, properly sized end mill holder or collet chuck and torque to the tool holder manufacturer's specification. Inspect the cutting edges and coating condition before each use. Follow the machine tool manufacturer's guidelines and applicable shop safety protocols when setting tool length offsets and establishing cutting parameters for carbide tooling.
