The tool features a 0.50 mm cutting diameter, a 1/64 inch (0.40 mm) length of cut, and a 2-flute spiral geometry with a 20-degree right-hand helix. An AlTiN Nano PVD coating provides thermal resistance and surface hardness at the cutting edge, making this end mill suited for high-speed finishing passes where tool life and dimensional accuracy are critical. The straight cylindrical shank measures 1/4 inch in diameter. Machinists and tool-and-die professionals working with hardened workpieces typically specify this tool.
