The HARVEY TOOL 36416 is a solid carbide square end mill designed for high-precision milling operations in ferrous and non-ferrous materials. With a 0.25-inch cutting diameter and four flutes, it delivers clean square shoulders, slots, and profiles in demanding machining environments. The diamond finish coating reduces friction and extends tool life in abrasive materials. A 30-degree helix angle balances chip evacuation with cutting stability. This tool is single-end, center-cutting, and features right-hand cut with right-hand flute geometry. It is installed and used by CNC machinists and toolroom operators in job shops, production facilities, and maintenance machining applications.
This end mill suits a wide range of milling applications including slotting, profiling, and plunge cutting in ferrous metals, aluminum, plastics, and composites. The 1.25-inch length of cut and 2.5-inch reach length support access to moderate-depth features without excessive tool deflection. With a 4-inch overall length and 0.25-inch shank diameter, it fits standard ER and side-lock toolholders commonly found on vertical machining centers and CNC mills.
