The HARVEY TOOL 36275-C3 is a solid carbide corner radius end mill designed for precision milling in demanding materials including steel, stainless steel, cast iron, and non-ferrous metals. It carries a 1/4 inch mill diameter, a 1.90 mm (0.0750 inch) corner radius, and four right-hand spiral flutes optimized for both roughing and finishing operations. The AlTiN PVD coating provides thermal resistance and extended tool life at elevated cutting temperatures. With a 3/4 inch length of cut and a 2.5 inch overall length on a straight cylindrical shank, this tool fits standard toolholders used on CNC machining centers and manual mills.
This end mill belongs to the Harvey Tool Miniature End Mills - Corner Radius - Stub and Standard series. It is suited for applications requiring a controlled corner radius blend in tight-tolerance pockets, slots, and profiling operations on steel, stainless steel, cast iron, non-ferrous metal, and composite workpieces. Its center-cutting geometry allows plunge entry. The normal pitch and fixed helix design make it a reliable choice for production environments where consistent chip evacuation and finish quality are required in small-diameter toolpaths.
Designed for use with standard CNC toolholders and ER collet systems accepting a 1/4 inch straight cylindrical shank. Suitable for machining steel, stainless steel, cast iron, non-ferrous metals, and composite materials as noted in the Harvey Tool Miniature End Mills - Corner Radius - Stub and Standard series.
Installation is performed by a machinist or CNC setup technician. Secure the shank fully within the toolholder collet to the recommended gauge-line depth before tightening. Verify spindle runout with a test indicator before cutting, as runout directly affects corner radius accuracy and tool life on small-diameter carbide end mills. Do not exceed the tool's rated length of cut when setting axial depth of cut parameters.
