The HARVEY TOOL 36260-C3 is a single-end corner radius end mill designed for precision milling in steel, stainless steel, cast iron, non-ferrous metals, and composite materials. Built from solid carbide and coated with AlTiN via a PVD process, this tool handles both roughing and finishing passes. It carries a 1/4 inch mill diameter, a 3/4 inch length of cut, and a 0.06 inch corner radius, making it well suited for miniature and tight-tolerance work. The 4-flute, right-hand spiral geometry and 30-degree helix angle promote efficient chip evacuation and a consistent surface finish across a wide range of workpiece materials.
This end mill fits into the Harvey Tool Miniature End Mills - Corner Radius - Stub and Standard series. It is intended for use in CNC machining centers and manual mills equipped with compatible toolholders that accept a 1/4 inch straight cylindrical shank. Typical applications include contouring, slotting, and profiling where a defined corner radius is required to reduce stress concentrations or meet print tolerances. The centercutting design allows plunge entry. Installation should be performed by a qualified machinist following the toolholder manufacturer's clamping specifications. Ensure the machine spindle is fully stopped and the control is in an e-stop or lock-out state before inserting or removing the end mill. Use a calibrated collet or shrink-fit holder appropriate for a 1/4 inch shank diameter to minimize runout. Do not exceed the clamping depth recommended by the toolholder manufacturer, and verify shank engagement before beginning any cut cycle.
