The HARVEY TOOL 35662 is a solid carbide, single-end ball end mill designed for precision milling in miniature applications. With a 1/16-inch (0.0620-inch) mill diameter and a 3/32-inch length of cut, this three-flute tool is built for tight-tolerance work in steel, stainless steel, cast iron, and non-ferrous metals. The 30-degree right-hand spiral helix and right-hand cutting direction support efficient chip evacuation during both roughing and finishing passes. The long-reach, stub-flute geometry is intended for machinists and tool-and-die professionals who need access in confined areas without sacrificing rigidity.
This end mill is suited for CNC machining centers and manual mills where miniature feature work is required. The 3/4-inch reach length (0.7500 inches) and 0.6570-inch neck length allow the tool to reach into pockets and contoured surfaces that standard-length end mills cannot access. Primary workpiece materials include steel, stainless steel, cast iron, and non-ferrous metals, making it a versatile choice across general machining, mold and die work, and precision part production. The bright/uncoated finish is appropriate for applications where coating is not required or where cutting fluid compatibility is a concern.

Compatible with collet chucks and end mill holders sized for 0.1250-inch shank diameter tooling. Suitable for machining steel, stainless steel, cast iron, and non-ferrous metals (material codes P, M, K, N).
Installation and use of this tool should be performed by qualified machinists familiar with CNC or manual milling operations. Verify that the collet or tool holder is properly torqued and that runout is within acceptable limits before starting a cut, as excessive runout significantly reduces tool life at this diameter. Always confirm spindle speed and feed rate parameters are appropriate for the workpiece material and tool diameter before engaging the cut. Inspect the tool for chipping or wear before each use, as carbide tooling at miniature diameters is susceptible to fracture under improper load conditions.
