The HARVEY TOOL 34820-C3 is a solid carbide corner radius end mill designed for precision milling in demanding metalworking applications. It features a 3/16-inch diameter, a 0.5 mm (0.0200-inch) corner radius, and 4 right-hand spiral flutes with a 30-degree helix angle. The cutting edges are AlTiN coated via PVD process, improving heat resistance and tool life in abrasive materials. With a 5/8-inch length of cut and 2-inch overall length, this is a stub-to-standard length tool suited for tight-clearance work. It is centercutting and capable of both roughing and finishing passes in a single tool setup. Licensed machinists and CNC operators are the primary installers.
This end mill is suited for use in CNC machining centers and manual milling machines across a broad range of workpiece materials including steel, stainless steel, cast iron, non-ferrous metals, and composite materials. Installation is performed by a qualified machinist or CNC setup technician. Ensure the machine spindle is fully stopped and the toolholder is clean and free of debris before inserting the end mill. Follow the tool manufacturer's recommended speeds and feeds for the specific workpiece material being cut.
