The HARVEY TOOL 33512 is a solid carbide ball end mill designed for precision milling in demanding trade and industrial machining applications. Built with a 0.1875-inch (3/16-inch) mill diameter and a 3-flute helical configuration, this single-end tool delivers capable roughing and finishing performance in a single pass. The 30-degree helix angle promotes efficient chip evacuation, and the bright uncoated finish makes it well-suited for a wide range of workpiece materials. With a 1.0-inch reach length and stub flute geometry, this end mill is engineered for long-reach, tight-clearance work where standard-length tools cannot access the cut zone.
This end mill is built for machining steel, stainless steel, cast iron, and non-ferrous metals, covering material grades P, M, K, and N. The long-reach, stub-flute design fits applications where deep pockets, recessed features, or confined geometries require extended reach without sacrificing rigidity. It is appropriate for CNC milling centers and manual mills running right-hand spindle rotation. The 0.0938-inch nose radius and 0.7190-inch neck length enable contoured surface work and 3D profile milling where a standard ball end mill would be too short or too wide to clear surrounding stock.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement and direct-fit option within the Harvey Tool Miniature End Mills - Ball - Long Reach, Stub Flute series. Compatible with workpiece materials including steel, stainless steel, cast iron, and non-ferrous metals (material grades P, M, K, N). Fits standard 3/16-inch collets and tool holders on CNC and manual milling machines.
Installation and tool changes should be performed by a qualified machinist with the spindle fully stopped and the machine control in a safe, locked-out state. Seat the straight-cylindrical shank fully into a clean, properly sized collet or end mill holder and torque the retention mechanism per the tool holder manufacturer's specification. Inspect the cutting edges and shank for runout before beginning the first cut. Coolant-through is not supported on this tool; use flood or mist coolant applied externally as appropriate for the workpiece material.
