The HARVEY TOOL 33280-C3 is a solid carbide square end mill designed for precision milling in demanding machining environments. With a 0.08 inch cutting diameter and a 0.12 inch length of cut, this tool is built for tight-tolerance work in small-feature applications. Three flutes and a 30-degree helix angle promote chip evacuation and surface finish quality. The AlTiN coating adds heat resistance and extends tool life in ferrous and hardened materials. At 2.5 inches overall length with a 0.125 inch shank diameter, it fits standard collet toolholding setups. Center-cutting geometry allows for plunge entry as well as peripheral milling.
This end mill is suited for use in vertical machining centers, CNC mills, and precision manual mills where small-diameter tooling is required. It is a single-end tool with right-hand cut and right-hand flute direction. The extended reach design and 0.406 inch reach length make it appropriate for milling in recessed pockets or stepped features. Machinists working in die and mold, medical device, aerospace, and general precision machining will find this tool applicable to profiling, slotting, and contouring in confined geometries.

Installation should be performed by a qualified machinist or toolroom technician. Secure the shank fully within the collet or toolholder to the recommended engagement depth before tightening. Verify runout with a dial indicator before beginning a cut. Do not exceed the tool manufacturer's recommended speed and feed parameters for the workpiece material and coating type.
