It features a 1/32 inch radius, a 0.5 inch cutting diameter, and a 5/16 inch (0.312 inch) cutting width. With 4 teeth and a form relieved relief style, it maintains accurate profile geometry through the full width of cut. The uncoated carbide construction suits a broad range of materials where a base carbide edge is preferred. This cutter is installed by machinists and tool and die professionals requiring precise concave form geometry in production or prototype work.
This cutter is suited for creating concave radius features in ferrous and non-ferrous workpieces in both production shop and job shop environments. The 0.5 inch shank diameter fits standard ER collet chucks, side lock holders, and other common 1/2 inch shank toolholding systems. Its 3 inch overall length provides adequate reach for most standard setups while maintaining rigidity. Installation is performed by a machinist or toolroom professional. Power down and lock out the spindle before changing tooling. Seat the shank fully in the holder to the recommended grip length before torquing the retention mechanism. Confirm runout with a dial indicator before cutting to protect the carbide teeth and maintain profile accuracy.
