The HARVEY TOOL 32415-C4 is a solid carbide corner radius end mill designed for precision milling in demanding metalworking applications. With a 0.125 inch mill diameter, a 0.625 inch length of cut, and a 0.0150 inch corner radius, this tool balances edge strength with accurate profile control. The four-flute, right-hand spiral geometry supports both roughing and finishing passes in a single setup. An amorphous diamond PVD coating reduces friction and extends tool life in abrasive and hard materials. The stub-to-standard length profile keeps the tool rigid in tight-clearance operations where deflection must be minimized. Licensed machinists and CNC operators rely on this end mill for close-tolerance work across a range of workpiece materials.
This end mill is suited for milling steel, stainless steel, cast iron, non-ferrous metals, aluminum, wood, and composite materials in both conventional and climb-milling strategies. The single-end, straight-cylindrical shank fits standard toolholders used on CNC machining centers and manual mills. At 0.125 inch diameter, it is built for miniature and detail work where larger tooling cannot reach. The 30-degree helix angle aids chip evacuation and smooth surface finishes. Installation should be performed by a qualified machinist or CNC operator. Ensure the spindle is fully stopped and the machine is in a safe, locked-out state before changing tooling. Seat the shank fully into the toolholder and tighten to the toolholder manufacturer's specified clamping procedure. Verify runout with a dial indicator before beginning a cut, as excessive runout accelerates edge wear and reduces dimensional accuracy on small-diameter carbide tools.
