The HARVEY TOOL 26393-C3 is a miniature solid carbide corner radius end mill designed for precision metal removal in tight-tolerance machining applications. Built to stub and standard length specifications, this single-end tool features a 0.093 inch mill diameter, a 0.005 inch corner radius, and an AlTiN (aluminum titanium nitride) PVD coating that extends tool life in abrasive and high-heat cutting environments. With four flutes and a right-hand spiral flute geometry, it delivers both roughing and finishing capability in a single tool. It is center-cutting and suitable for plunge entry, slotting, profiling, and contouring operations.
This end mill is intended for use in CNC machining centers and manual mills where small-diameter, high-precision tooling is required. It is well suited for ferrous and non-ferrous workpiece materials including steel, stainless steel, cast iron, non-ferrous metals, and composite materials. The 0.005 inch corner radius reduces stress concentrations at the cutting edge, extending tool life in production runs. Toolholders with a 1/8 inch bore are required. This tool is typically run by machinists and tooling professionals working in precision manufacturing, mold and die, medical device, and aerospace component applications.
Designed for use with standard toolholders accepting a 1/8 inch straight cylindrical shank. Compatible with CNC machining centers and manual mills as part of the Harvey Tool Miniature End Mills - Corner Radius - Stub and Standard series.
Installation should be performed by a qualified machinist or tooling technician. Ensure the machine spindle is fully stopped and the toolholder is clean and free of debris before seating the shank. Confirm runout is within acceptable tolerance before beginning a cut, as miniature-diameter carbide tooling is sensitive to deflection and improper seating. Follow the machine manufacturer and tooling supplier recommended speeds and feeds for the specific workpiece material and coating type.
