The HARVEY TOOL 18893-C6 is a miniature solid carbide ball end mill designed for high-precision milling in ferrous and hard materials. With a 0.093 inch cutting diameter, a 0.14 inch length of cut, and a tapered-reach extended neck measuring 1.86 inches, this tool reaches into deep pockets and complex contours without sacrificing rigidity. The AlTiN Nano PVD coating delivers elevated heat resistance and surface hardness, making it well suited for both roughing and finishing passes in steel, stainless steel, cast iron, and hard materials. It is used by machinists and CNC programmers in tool and die, aerospace component, and precision parts applications.
This end mill fits standard 1/4 inch straight-cylindrical shank toolholders and is sized for CNC machining centers, high-speed spindles, and precision manual mills where miniature tooling is required. The 30-degree right-hand helix and two-flute geometry support chip evacuation in slotting, profiling, and finishing operations on ferrous alloys and hard workpiece materials rated under ISO material codes P, M, K, and H. The stub-length classification and 2.0 inch reach make it a practical choice for cavities and contoured surfaces that require extended reach with minimal deflection.

Avoid exceeding the manufacturer's recommended depth-of-cut guidelines for miniature carbide tooling, as small-diameter carbide is brittle and susceptible to breakage under excessive lateral load.
