The HARVEY TOOL 17364-C3 is a solid carbide helical flute thread mill designed for cutting 3/8-16 unified coarse threads in both internal and external applications. Built with 4 flutes and an AlTiN coating, it handles the heat and abrasion demands of production milling environments. The shank diameter is 0.3125 inches with a cutting diameter of 0.2850 inches, a length of cut of 0.7500 inches, and an overall length of 3.0000 inches. Coolant-through capability supports chip evacuation and tool life in deep or tight thread-milling passes. This tool is sized for machinists and CNC operators working in job shops, production facilities, or toolroom environments.
This thread mill is suited for cutting 3/8-16 threads at 16 teeth per inch in a range of workpiece materials where AlTiN coating provides thermal protection. Internal thread milling in through-holes and blind holes is a primary application, along with external thread milling on cylindrical features. The minimum nominal thread diameter is 0.3750 inches.
