The HARVEY TOOL 17062-C3 is a double-end corner rounding end mill designed for precision edge-profiling on metal workpieces. Built from solid carbide and coated with AlTiN (Aluminum Titanium Nitride), this tool handles high-temperature cutting environments and maintains edge integrity through extended runs. It carries a 1/16 inch corner radius and a 3/16 inch mill diameter, with a tip diameter of 0.0460 inches and an overall length of 2 inches. Machinists and CNC operators use it to produce consistent, repeatable radius breaks on part edges without secondary deburring operations.
This end mill is suited for use in CNC machining centers and manual mills where controlled corner rounding on steel, stainless, aluminum, and similar materials is required. The double-end configuration allows the operator to index to a fresh cutting end when one side shows wear, extending usable tool life. The AlTiN coating makes it a practical choice for dry or minimal-lubrication cutting strategies in ferrous and exotic alloy applications. It fits standard 3/16 inch collets and tool holders.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement for corner rounding end mill applications requiring a 3/16 inch diameter, 1/16 inch radius, double-end solid carbide tool in the Corner Rounding End Mills 2 and 4 Flute Flared series.
Installation should be performed by a qualified machinist familiar with tool holding and CNC or manual mill operation. Ensure the spindle is fully stopped and the machine is powered down before changing tooling. Secure the 3/16 inch shank firmly in a matched collet or end mill holder to the appropriate clamping torque for the holder manufacturer's specification. Inspect the cutting edges before use and do not run a chipped or damaged tool.
