The HARVEY TOOL 14632 is a solid carbide square end mill designed for precise milling operations in metalworking and machining environments. It features a 0.5-inch cutting diameter, a 1-inch length of cut, and a 3-inch overall length. The straight-flute geometry with a 0-degree helix and right-hand cut makes it well-suited for applications where chip evacuation geometry is kept simple and rigidity is prioritized. With 2 flutes and a bright, uncoated finish, this tool is a single-end, non-centercutting end mill. Installation and use are performed by machinists on CNC milling machines or manual mills.
This end mill is suited for use in light to moderate milling operations where a straight flute profile is appropriate. The 0-degree helix angle produces no axial cutting force, which can be advantageous when milling thin-walled workpieces or brittle materials. The uncoated bright finish means no additional coating treatment has been applied, making it straightforward to inspect for wear. This is a single-end tool, so once the cutting end is worn, the tool is replaced rather than reversed.

This tool is installed and operated by machinists. Before tool changes, power down the spindle completely and confirm the machine is in a safe state. Use a properly sized collet or end mill holder rated for 0.5-inch shank tooling, and torque the retention nut or set screw per the toolholder manufacturer specifications. Because this is a non-centercutting end mill, avoid direct plunge cuts into solid material without pre-drilling or using a ramping entry path.
