The HARVEY TOOL 13993 is a solid carbide square end mill designed for precise milling operations in metalworking and machining applications. It features a 3/32 inch (0.0930 inch decimal) mill diameter with a 0.139 inch length of cut and a 1/8 inch shank diameter. The 30-degree helix angle promotes efficient chip evacuation and smooth cutting action. With a bright, uncoated finish, this end mill is suited for general-purpose cutting where a coating is not required. Machinists and CNC operators install this tool in milling centers and manual mills for slotting, profiling, and plunge cutting on a range of workpiece materials.
This end mill is built for applications where small-diameter precision cutting is required. The single-end, two-flute configuration provides clearance for chip removal, making it well suited for slotting and pocketing operations. The centercutting geometry allows direct plunge entry into the workpiece without a pre-drilled hole. At 1.5 inches overall length with a right-hand cutting and flute direction, it fits standard collet and end mill holder setups. It is commonly used in job shops, toolrooms, and production machining environments where tight tolerances and small features are the norm.
Designed for use in standard collet chucks and end mill holders accepting a 1/8 inch shank diameter, compatible with CNC machining centers and manual knee mills configured for small-diameter tooling.
Installation should be performed by a qualified machinist or CNC operator with the machine powered down and locked out before tool changes. Ensure the collet or end mill holder is clean and free of debris before seating the shank. Verify runout with a dial indicator after clamping to maintain tolerance on small-diameter tools. Follow the machine manufacturer guidelines and applicable shop safety procedures when setting speeds and feeds.
