The HARVEY TOOL 11050 is a solid carbide combined drill and countersink designed for precision center drilling and chamfering in a single operation. With a 1/4-inch body diameter and a 7/64-inch drill point, this double-end tool generates a 60-degree included angle countersink while simultaneously drilling the pilot hole. The 118-degree drill point angle suits general-purpose work across a wide range of materials. At 2 inches overall length, the 11050 fits standard toolholders used in CNC machining centers, manual lathes, and mill-drill setups. Installation and operation are handled by machinists and tool-and-die professionals working in production and job-shop environments.
The HARVEY TOOL 11050 is suited for center drilling operations on ferrous and non-ferrous metals, plastics, and composites where a precise starting point and countersink are required in one pass. Its double-end configuration doubles usable tool life before replacement is needed. The bright, uncoated finish makes it well-matched to materials where coated carbide is unnecessary or undesirable, such as aluminum and brass. This tool is commonly used in turning centers and vertical machining centers for part preparation prior to between-centers turning or fastener-seat spotting.
Designed as an OEM-style combined drill and countersink suitable for use in standard toolholders accepting a 1/4-inch shank on CNC lathes, manual lathes, and machining centers.
Installation and operation should be performed by qualified machinists following machine tool manufacturer guidelines. Power down and lock out the spindle before loading or changing tooling. Secure the tool firmly in the holder to the specified clamping requirements of the toolholder manufacturer. Follow applicable OSHA machining safety standards and shop-specific procedures when operating rotating cutting tools.
