The HARVEY TOOL 10210 is a miniature solid carbide ball end mill designed for high-precision finishing operations in steel, stainless steel, and cast iron. With a 0.0100-inch cutting diameter and a 0.0500-inch length of cut, this tool is built for tight-tolerance work in confined areas and complex contoured surfaces. The three-flute geometry and 30-degree right-hand helix promote efficient chip evacuation while maintaining rigidity at this scale. An amorphous diamond PVD coating extends tool life by reducing friction and heat buildup in hard and abrasive workpiece materials. A 0.1250-inch straight cylindrical shank provides a secure grip in standard collet chucks. This end mill is intended for use by experienced machinists and CNC programmers working in precision manufacturing environments.
This miniature long-reach ball end mill is suited for finishing passes on deep pockets, sculptured mold cavities, and fine detail features where standard-length tools cannot reach. The extended reach and long flute configuration, combined with the 0.1000-inch reach length and 0.0500-inch neck length, allow access to recessed features without sacrificing tool control. Primary workpiece materials include steel, stainless steel, and cast iron. The centercutting design allows plunge entry where required. Single-end configuration is standard for this series.
Designed for use in CNC machining centers and precision milling machines accepting a 0.1250-inch straight cylindrical shank. Suited for finishing operations in steel, stainless steel, and cast iron workpieces.
Installation and operation of miniature end mills should be performed by qualified CNC machinists or tooling technicians. Ensure the collet and collet chuck are clean, undamaged, and rated for the 0.1250-inch shank diameter before mounting. At this diameter, runout control is critical — use a precision collet or hydraulic chuck and verify runout before cutting. Do not exceed manufacturer-recommended speeds and feeds for the workpiece material and coating type, as tool breakage at this scale can occur rapidly under excessive load.
