The HAM-LET 3501423 is a compression tube front ferrule designed for use in compression-style tube fittings. The front ferrule forms the primary seal in a two-ferrule compression assembly, biting into the tube wall when the fitting nut is tightened to create a leak-tight connection. Manufactured from 316 stainless steel to ASTM A269 standards, this ferrule is built for applications where corrosion resistance and material integrity are critical. It is sized for tube OD connections and is handled by plumbers, pipefitters, and instrumentation technicians working on compression tubing systems.
This front ferrule is suited for instrumentation, process, and fluid-handling systems that require reliable compression connections. It is appropriate for both residential and light commercial applications within its rated temperature range of -20 degrees C to 100 degrees C. The 316 stainless steel construction makes it a practical choice in environments with exposure to moisture, mild chemicals, or corrosive media where carbon steel would be unsuitable.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or service component for two-ferrule compression tube fitting assemblies using tube OD connections.
Installation is performed by licensed plumbers, pipefitters, or instrumentation technicians. Before servicing any compression fitting, depressurize and drain the line in accordance with applicable system procedures and local codes. Ensure the tube end is cut square and deburred before seating the ferrule. Do not reuse ferrules that have been fully swaged, as the deformed ferrule will not form a reliable seal on reinstallation.
