The HAM-LET 3500129 is a compression tube front ferrule designed for use in instrumentation and fluid control tubing systems. The front ferrule is the primary sealing component in a two-ferrule compression fitting assembly - it bites into the tube OD when the fitting nut is tightened, creating a leak-tight mechanical seal without threading or welding. Manufactured from 316 stainless steel per ASTM A182, ASTM A213, ASTM A269, ASTM A276, and ASTM A479, this ferrule meets the dimensional and material standards required for industrial, HVAC, and process piping applications. It is installed by licensed plumbers, HVAC technicians, and instrumentation fitters working with stainless tubing systems.
This front ferrule is suited for residential and commercial systems where a reliable compression tube connection is required. Typical applications include instrumentation tubing, pneumatic control lines, hydraulic circuits, and refrigeration or process piping that demands corrosion-resistant stainless construction. The Tube OD end connection style is compatible with standard two-ferrule compression fitting bodies and back ferrules used in industrial and mechanical systems. The rated temperature range of -20 degrees F minimum to 37 degrees F maximum suits low-temperature service conditions.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement and cross-reference to Swagelok part number SS-303-1. Intended for use in standard two-ferrule compression tube fitting assemblies with Tube OD end connections.
Installation is performed by licensed plumbers or qualified instrumentation fitters. Before servicing any compression fitting, depressurize and isolate the tubing circuit completely. Use the appropriate tube cutting and deburring tools to ensure a clean, square tube end before inserting into the fitting body. Follow the fitting manufacturer's published makeup procedure for ferrule compression - do not overtighten, as this can damage the ferrule and compromise the seal.
