The HAM-LET 3200341 is a 3/8-inch inline check valve designed to allow one-directional fluid or gas flow and prevent backflow in high-pressure process and instrumentation systems. It uses compression x compression end connections for a leak-tight, tubing-based installation without threading or welding. The body and spring are both 316 stainless steel, and the seat seal is Viton, making this valve well-suited for corrosive media and elevated temperatures up to 375 degrees F. The valve opens at a crack pressure of 1 psi and is rated for a maximum working pressure of 3000 psi, serving demanding industrial and specialty gas applications.
This check valve is installed inline in compression-tubing systems used in instrumentation, semiconductor processing, chemical distribution, high-pressure gas lines, and similar trade applications. The compression x compression configuration suits 3/8-inch tubing runs where a tool-free, repeatable connection is required. Licensed pipefitters, industrial instrumentation technicians, and specialty gas system installers are the typical tradespeople working with this component. It is a direct cross-reference to Swagelok part number SS-6C-1.
Direct cross-reference to Swagelok part number SS-6C-1. Designed for use in 3/8-inch compression tubing systems. Verify tubing outer diameter and wall thickness before installation to confirm fitting compatibility.
Installation is performed by licensed pipefitters or instrumentation technicians following applicable pressure piping codes. Depressurize and isolate the line completely before removing any existing valve or fitting. Compression fittings require proper tube preparation, including square-cut, deburred tubing ends seated fully before tightening the nut. Do not overtighten compression fittings; follow the fitting manufacturer's assembly procedure for ferrule-style connections.
