The HAM-LET 3102385 is a brass compression tube female elbow designed to connect 3/8-inch compression tubing to a female NPT threaded port at a 90-degree angle. This fitting is used in fluid and gas distribution systems where a directional change is required between a compression tube and a pipe thread connection. Manufactured from brass and conforming to ASTM B68 and ASTM B75 standards, it is rated for up to 2600 psi maximum working pressure. The compression-to-FNPT configuration makes this elbow a common choice for instrument tubing, control lines, and process piping installations handled by licensed plumbers and instrumentation technicians.
This fitting is suited for residential and light commercial applications involving instrument tubing, compressed air lines, hydraulic control circuits, and similar fluid-handling systems. The 3/8-inch thread size with a compression inlet and female NPT outlet covers a wide range of standard pipe and tube routing scenarios. It is appropriate for systems operating within the rated temperature range where brass construction and compression-style connections are acceptable per system design specifications.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or system fitting for fluid and gas distribution assemblies using 3/8-inch compression tubing with female NPT pipe thread connections. Cross-references Swagelok part number B-600-8-6.
Installation should be performed by a licensed plumber or qualified instrumentation technician. Depressurize and isolate the system completely before disassembling existing connections or installing this fitting. Compression fittings require proper tube preparation including clean, square cuts and a fully seated ferrule to achieve rated pressure performance. Do not overtighten the compression nut, as excess torque can deform the ferrule and compromise the seal.
