The HAM-LET 3101965 is a brass compression tube connector designed to create a leak-tight mechanical joint between a compression tube end and a female NPT port. Rated to 2400 psi maximum working pressure, it handles demanding fluid and gas transfer applications in instrumentation, hydraulic, and process piping systems. The fitting is manufactured from brass stock meeting ASTM B68 and ASTM B75 standards, confirming material traceability and alloy integrity. At 1.67 inches overall length, the compact body fits in tight panel or manifold installations. Licensed plumbers, pipefitters, and instrumentation technicians are the typical installers for this type of fitting.
This connector is suited for residential and light commercial plumbing, HVAC refrigerant line accessories, compressed air distribution, and general instrumentation tubing applications. The compression end accepts standard tubing and grips it mechanically without soldering or threading, while the FNPT end threads directly into a female pipe port. It is appropriate for systems operating within the rated temperature range of -20 degrees C to 37 degrees C. This fitting can also be cross-referenced to Swagelok part number B-400-7-8 for procurement purposes.
Designed as an OEM-compatible compression-to-FNPT fitting for instrumentation, process piping, compressed air, and plumbing systems using 1/2 inch female NPT ports. Cross-references to Swagelok part number B-400-7-8.
Installation should be performed by a licensed plumber or pipefitter in accordance with applicable IPC or local mechanical code requirements. Isolate and fully depressurize the system before removing any existing fitting or installing this connector. Hand-tighten the compression nut first, then advance with a wrench per standard compression fitting practice; do not overtighten. Verify the system is leak-free under pressure before returning it to service.
