The HAM-LET 3101826 is a brass compression tube union designed to join two compression-end tube lines in a single inline fitting. Built from brass stock conforming to ASTM B68 and ASTM B75 standards, it provides a secure, leak-resistant mechanical connection without soldering or welding. At 1.91 inches overall length, the fitting is compact enough for tight installations in instrumentation panels, HVAC lines, refrigeration tubing runs, and light industrial plumbing systems. Licensed plumbers, HVAC technicians, and instrumentation fitters are the typical installers. The union configuration allows for easy disassembly and reassembly of the tube line during service or system modifications.
This fitting is suited for low-to-moderate temperature applications, rated from -4 degrees F to 98.6 degrees F (-20 degrees C to 37 degrees C). It is appropriate for residential and light commercial installations where a repeatable, tool-assisted compression connection is preferred over a brazed or threaded joint. The compression x compression end configuration accepts standard compression tubing on both sides, making it useful in instrumentation, HVAC controls, and fluid handling assemblies that require periodic access to the line. It carries a Swagelok equivalent cross-reference of B-810-6-6 for sourcing reference.
Designed as an OEM-style compression tube union for instrumentation, HVAC, refrigeration, and light industrial fluid handling systems requiring a brass compression x compression inline union fitting. Cross-references to Swagelok part number B-810-6-6.
Installation should be performed by a licensed plumber, HVAC technician, or qualified instrumentation fitter. Depressurize and isolate the tube line completely before disassembling or installing the fitting. Use appropriate compression sleeve and nut components rated for the tubing OD and the system operating pressure. Do not over-tighten the compression nut, as brass fittings can deform if excessive torque is applied beyond hand-tight plus the recommended fractional turn.
