The HAM-LET 3101806 is a brass compression tube union designed to join two compression-end tube segments in a single inline fitting. The union accepts compression connections on both ends, creating a secure, leak-resistant joint without soldering or threading. Brass construction provides corrosion resistance and mechanical durability suited to fluid and gas distribution lines. This fitting is installed by licensed plumbers, HVAC technicians, and instrumentation technicians working on tubing runs in residential, commercial, and light industrial systems.
This compression union is appropriate for use in potable water lines, HVAC refrigerant-adjacent copper tubing assemblies, pneumatic instrumentation lines, and general-purpose fluid distribution where compression fittings are specified. The compression-by-compression end configuration makes it well suited for inline repairs or extensions of existing tubing runs without requiring special tooling beyond a tubing cutter and wrenches.
Designed as an OEM-style compression union fitting for use in systems requiring compression-to-compression tube connections. Cross-referenced to Swagelok part number B-1210-6.
Installation is performed by a licensed plumber or qualified HVAC or instrumentation technician. Shut off and depressurize the system before disassembling or installing any compression fitting. Hand-tighten the compression nut first, then apply a measured additional turn with a wrench per the tubing material and diameter requirements - do not overtighten, as excessive force can deform the ferrule and cause leaks. Verify system pressure rating compatibility before returning the line to service.
