The HAM-LET 3002004 is a compression tube connector designed to join 3/8 inch OD tubing to a 1/4 inch male NPT (MNPT) threaded port. Constructed from 316 stainless steel with a material grade conforming to ASTM A182, ASTM A213, ASTM A269, ASTM A276, and ASTM A479, this fitting is built for demanding fluid and gas service. It carries a maximum working pressure of 8000 psi and an overall length of 1.57 inches. Licensed HVAC technicians, plumbers, and instrumentation technicians install this type of fitting in high-pressure tubing systems where a secure, leak-free transition from compression tubing to NPT threaded components is required.
This connector is suited for industrial and commercial instrumentation, process piping, and high-pressure fluid handling systems. The compression end accepts 3/8 inch OD tubing, while the MNPT end connects to standard female NPT ports. It is appropriate for applications operating within a temperature range of -20 degrees F to 37 degrees F. Typical installations include instrument impulse lines, hydraulic circuits, and compressed gas distribution lines where stainless steel corrosion resistance and high-pressure ratings are priorities.
Listed as a cross-reference equivalent to Swagelok part number SS-600-1-4. Designed as an OEM-style replacement or direct substitute in instrumentation and process tubing systems using 3/8 inch OD compression tubing with 1/4 inch MNPT threaded connections.
Installation should be performed by a qualified plumber, pipefitter, or instrumentation technician familiar with high-pressure compression fittings. Depressurize and isolate the system completely before disassembly or installation. Follow the fitting manufacturer torque and ferrule seating procedure for compression fittings - do not substitute generic tightening guidance. Verify that tubing OD and wall thickness are within the fitting's rated specifications before assembly.
