The HAM-LET 3001712 is a compression tube union tee fitting machined from 316 stainless steel. It provides three-way compression connections in a single body, allowing a tubing line to branch or be joined at a tee junction without welding or threading. At 3.06 inches overall length, the fitting is compact enough for panel-mounted instrument lines, process piping, and analytical sampling systems. Licensed plumbers, instrumentation technicians, and industrial pipefitters install this type of fitting in systems where leak-tight, repeatable tube connections are required. Material compliance with ASTM A182, A213, A269, A276, and A479 confirms the alloy and mechanical integrity of the forged or bar-stock body.
This fitting is suited for use in commercial and industrial applications where 316 stainless steel is specified for corrosion resistance, including chemical processing, oil and gas instrumentation, semiconductor fabrication, and high-purity fluid distribution. The compression-by-compression-by-compression end configuration accepts standard instrument tubing on all three ports. The fitting is rated for a minimum service temperature of -20 degrees F (-29 degrees C) and a maximum of 37 degrees C (98.6 degrees F) at the stated rating point. It is also dimensionally referenced against Swagelok part number SS-1010-3, making it a recognized interchange in instrumentation tubing work.
Cross-referenced to Swagelok part number SS-1010-3. Designed as a compression tube union tee for use in instrumentation and process tubing systems requiring 316 stainless steel fittings with compression-style end connections.
Installation should be performed by a licensed pipefitter, plumber, or instrumentation technician familiar with compression tube fitting assembly. Depressurize and isolate the tubing system completely before disassembly or installation of any fitting. Ensure tubing ends are cleanly cut, deburred, and square before insertion to achieve a leak-free compression seal. Follow the fitting manufacturer's assembly instructions for ferrule engagement and nut turn count; do not over-tighten compression fittings, as this can deform ferrules and compromise the seal.
