The HAM-LET 3001705 is a three-way compression tube union designed for joining tubing runs at a single connection point without welding or threading. Built from 316 stainless steel to ASTM A182, A213, A269, A276, and A479 standards, this union delivers corrosion resistance suited for demanding fluid and gas handling applications. It accepts 1/8-inch outside-diameter tubing on all three ports and measures 1.76 inches in overall length. Licensed HVAC technicians, instrumentation technicians, and industrial plumbers install this fitting in systems where a leak-tight, reusable connection is required across a wide service temperature range.
This compression union is used in residential and commercial instrumentation lines, process tubing, pneumatic control circuits, and small-bore fluid distribution systems. Its all-compression end connections allow installation and removal without special tooling beyond a standard wrench, making it practical for tight spaces or field retrofit work. The 316 stainless steel construction makes it appropriate for mildly corrosive media, high-purity fluid service, and outdoor or wet environments where carbon steel fittings would be unsuitable.
Designed as an OEM-style compression tube union for 1/8-inch OD tubing systems. The Swagelok equivalent reference part number is SS-200-3, indicating direct dimensional and functional interchangeability with fittings of that specification.
Installation should be performed by a qualified technician familiar with compression fitting assembly procedures. Isolate and depressurize the tubing system completely before disassembly or fitting installation. Follow the fitting manufacturer's recommended number of turns past finger-tight when making up compression connections, and do not over-tighten, as this can deform the ferrule and compromise the seal. Verify applicable codes such as ASME B31.1 or B31.3 for process piping installations before placing the fitting into service.
