The HAM-LET 3001062 is a compression-style tube end cap machined from 316 stainless steel. It seals the open end of a compression tube line, preventing flow, contamination, or pressure loss at the termination point. With an overall length of 1.24 inches and a rated minimum temperature of -20 degrees F, this fitting is suited for instrumentation, process, and fluid-handling applications where a clean, leak-free tube termination is required. Licensed plumbers, instrumentation technicians, and industrial pipefitters install this type of fitting in both new construction and retrofit scenarios. It meets ASTM A182, A213, A269, A276, and A479 standards, as well as DIN EN10122-5 and DIN EN10272.
This end cap is designed for use in compression tube systems found in commercial and industrial process piping, HVAC instrumentation lines, hydraulic sampling loops, and similar fluid-control installations. The 316 stainless steel construction provides resistance to corrosion in demanding environments. The compression end connection eliminates the need for welding or brazing, making field installation straightforward. It is appropriate for both new system builds and replacement service in existing compression tube networks operating within the rated temperature range.
Cross-references to Swagelok part number SS-1210-C. Designed as an OEM-style compression tube end cap for use in standard compression tube fitting systems operating within the rated temperature and material specifications.
Installation should be performed by a qualified instrumentation technician, pipefitter, or licensed plumber following applicable codes. Depressurize and isolate the tube line completely before removing any existing fitting or installing this end cap. Use the appropriate compression fitting tool to seat the ferrule without over-tightening. Verify leak-free termination with a pressure test before returning the system to service.
