The HAM-LET 3000444 is a compression tube union designed to join two lengths of tubing in a straight-run configuration using compression-style end connections on both sides. Constructed from 316 stainless steel and manufactured to ASTM A269 standards, this fitting delivers reliable corrosion resistance in demanding fluid and gas handling systems. The union configuration allows for in-line disassembly without disturbing the surrounding tubing. Rated for service from -20 degrees C to 100 degrees C, it suits a range of process temperatures encountered in light industrial, instrumentation, and utility piping applications. Licensed plumbers and instrumentation technicians are the primary installers.
This fitting is used in residential and commercial plumbing, HVAC refrigerant lines, instrumentation tubing, and process fluid systems where a removable, leak-tight tube connection is required. The compression x compression configuration eliminates the need for brazing or threading, making it practical for field installations where open-flame work is restricted or impractical. Typical installations include control line assemblies, instrument hookups, and utility gas or water tubing runs.
Designed as an OEM-style compression union for use with standard compression tubing in instrumentation, plumbing, and process piping systems requiring 316 stainless steel fittings conforming to ASTM A269.
Installation is performed by licensed plumbers or qualified instrumentation technicians. Shut off and depressurize the tubing system completely before disassembling or installing any compression fitting. Use appropriate tubing cutters to produce a clean, square tube end before inserting into the compression fitting body to ensure a proper ferrule seat and leak-free connection. Follow applicable plumbing and process piping codes, including IPC requirements, for pressure ratings and approved materials in the specific service environment.
