The HALEX/SCOTT FETZER 96831 is a zinc plated steel reducing washer sold in a 2-pack configuration. It steps down a 1-inch knockout or opening to accept a 1/2-inch conduit fitting, allowing electricians to reuse oversized knockouts without cutting new holes or replacing enclosures. The zinc plating provides corrosion resistance suitable for standard indoor and protected outdoor installations. This washer seats flat against the enclosure wall and is secured by the locknut of the 1/2-inch fitting.
