The HALEX/SCOTT FETZER 96571 is a 3-pack of 1/2 inch AFC-50 MC flexible metal cable box connectors designed for fast, secure termination of armored cable into standard electrical enclosures. The connector features a no-locknut design that eliminates a separate fastening step and an insulated throat with a 4-way clamping screw for positive cable retention. Compatible with both steel and aluminum AC or MC cable, these connectors accept wire combinations from 14/2 through 12/4. Licensed electricians and commercial wiremen are the primary installers of this fitting.

This connector is suited for residential and light commercial electrical installations where MC or AC cable terminates into junction boxes, panelboards, or device enclosures. The no-locknut entry design speeds rough-in work on panel feeds, branch circuits, and equipment connections. The insulated throat protects cable insulation from abrasion at the box entry point. Installation Notes

Installation must be performed by a qualified electrician in accordance with applicable NEC requirements for armored and metal-clad cable terminations. De-energize all circuits and verify absence of voltage before working in any enclosure. Insert the connector through the knockout, seat the insulated throat against the cable, and tighten the 4-way screw firmly to secure the cable without over-crushing the armor. No locknut is required with this connector design.
