The HALEX/SCOTT FETZER 96151 is a 1/2 inch, 1-hole, snap-on electrical metallic tubing (EMT) strap designed to secure EMT conduit to walls, ceilings, and structural framing. Constructed from steel, this strap delivers reliable mechanical support in standard electrical rough-in applications. The snap-on design allows for fast, tool-free installation directly onto the conduit before securing with a single fastener through the mounting hole. Each retail package contains 4 straps, and the package ships in a UPC-labeled polybag. This is a standard consumable hardware item used daily by licensed electricians and electrical contractors on residential and commercial projects.
This strap is suited for use in residential wiring, light commercial construction, and industrial panel installations wherever 1/2 inch EMT conduit requires mechanical support. It is commonly installed at regular intervals along conduit runs to meet NEC support-spacing requirements. The 4-pack format is practical for smaller conduit runs or for topping off job-site inventory. Electricians working on device boxes, panel rough-ins, or branch circuit runs will find this strap appropriate for standard steel EMT applications.
Designed as a standard OEM-style replacement and new-installation strap for 1/2 inch electrical metallic tubing conduit systems in residential and commercial electrical installations.
Installation is performed by licensed electricians in accordance with NEC Article 358 requirements for EMT support and securing. De-energize all circuits in the work area before securing conduit to live panels or energized boxes. Snap the strap onto the conduit, position it against the mounting surface, and secure with an appropriate fastener through the single mounting hole. Use the correct anchor type for the mounting surface — wood screw for studs, toggle or masonry anchor for concrete and block.
