The HALEX/SCOTT FETZER 93592 is a high-strength bronze ground rod clamp designed to secure grounding conductors to a 5/8-inch ground rod. Built for dependable electrical grounding connections, this clamp accommodates a wire range of 10 AWG solid through 2 AWG stranded conductors. Its bronze construction provides corrosion resistance suited for direct burial installations. Licensed electricians and grounding system installers rely on this type of clamp to establish solid earth-ground connections in residential and light commercial electrical systems.
This clamp is appropriate for use in grounding electrode systems where a driven ground rod serves as the grounding electrode. It is suitable for direct burial applications, making it well-suited for below-grade installation in soil without requiring additional protective housing. Each unit ships bagged and is sold individually, with a package quantity of 30 units per package for stocking convenience. The clamp is a standard component in grounding electrode conductor termination work performed during new construction or service panel upgrades.
Designed for use with 5/8-inch diameter driven ground rods accepting grounding conductors ranging from 10 AWG solid to 2 AWG stranded wire.
Installation should be performed by a licensed electrician in accordance with NEC Article 250 grounding and bonding requirements. De-energize the system and verify power is off before making any grounding connections. Ensure the ground rod is driven to the required depth before attaching the clamp, and torque the clamp fastener according to the manufacturer instructions included with the hardware. For direct burial installations, no additional protective coating or housing is required around the clamp body.
