The HALEX/SCOTT FETZER 20517 is a non-metallic snaptite connector designed to secure non-metallic sheathed cable to a steel outlet box or other metal enclosure. Each connector features a snap-in design that eliminates the need for a locknut, reducing installation time on the rough-in. The 3/8 inch connector body fits a 1/2 inch knockout opening and accepts NM cable with an outer diameter ranging from 0.300 to 0.560 inches. This listing includes two connectors per pack. Rated for dry, indoor locations only, this connector is a standard consumable for residential electrical rough-in work.
The 20517 is used in residential and light commercial electrical installations where non-metallic sheathed cable must be terminated into a metal enclosure. It is compatible with common NM cable sizes including 14/2, 12/2, and 12/3 AWG, as well as two runs of 14/2 AWG or flexible cord within the accepted diameter range. Electricians use these connectors when installing outlet boxes, junction boxes, and panel enclosures during new construction or remodel wiring. The snap-in entry design is suited for production framing work where speed and consistency matter.

Use only in dry, indoor locations — this connector is not rated for wet or damp environments.
