The HALEX 27529 is an insulating conduit bushing designed to protect wire and cable insulation from abrasion at conduit termination points. Installed at the end of a conduit run where conductors exit into an enclosure, panel, or junction box, this bushing seats over the conduit end to eliminate the sharp metal edge that can nick or damage conductor insulation over time. It is a standard component in commercial and residential electrical installations wherever metal conduit terminates at a box or enclosure.
This bushing is suited for use in branch-circuit and feeder conduit runs in residential, commercial, and light industrial wiring. Electricians install it during rough-in and finish electrical work as part of standard conduit termination practice. It is sold individually, making it easy to order exact quantities for a given job.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement and standard-fit insulating bushing for metal conduit terminations in residential and commercial electrical installations.
Installation is performed by a licensed electrician. De-energize and lock out the circuit or panel before working at any conduit termination point. Seat the bushing firmly over the conduit end before pulling conductors through to ensure continuous insulation protection. Work should comply with applicable National Electrical Code (NEC) requirements for conduit fittings and conductor protection.
