The HALEX 26241 is a raintight compression conduit coupling designed for use with electrical metallic tubing (EMT). It creates a secure, weatherproof connection between two sections of EMT conduit, preventing moisture intrusion in wet or damp locations. The compression-style design eliminates the need for set screws, delivering a reliable mechanical and electrical bond. Electricians use this coupling when running EMT through exposed outdoor runs, rooftop installations, or any location where the National Electrical Code (NEC) requires raintight fittings.
This coupling is suited for residential and commercial electrical installations where EMT conduit is routed through wet or damp-rated environments. Typical applications include outdoor panel feeds, service entry runs, rooftop equipment wiring, and conduit systems on exterior walls. The raintight rating makes it appropriate for use in locations subject to rain, splashing water, or condensation. A licensed electrician installs this fitting during conduit assembly before wire pull.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement and standard fitment for EMT conduit systems in wet or damp-rated electrical installations.
Installation must be performed by a qualified electrician in accordance with applicable NEC requirements for raintight fittings. De-energize all circuits in the conduit run before making or breaking any conduit connections. Ensure conduit ends are clean, deburred, and fully seated before tightening the compression nut. Do not over-tighten to the point of deforming the conduit or coupling body.
