The HALEX 23212 is an EMT conduit connector used to join electrical metallic tubing to an electrical enclosure, junction box, or panel. Connectors of this type secure the conduit at the point of entry, maintaining a continuous raceway and helping protect conductors from damage. The 23212 is installed by electricians during rough-in and finish wiring on commercial and residential projects. It is sold individually, making it easy to source exact quantities for a job.
EMT conduit connectors like the 23212 are used wherever electrical metallic tubing terminates at a box, panel, or enclosure. Typical applications include commercial office builds, residential service panels, and light industrial installations where EMT is the raceway of choice. The connector seats the conduit end and is secured to the enclosure knockout to maintain raceway continuity and mechanical protection.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement and standard-use connector for EMT conduit raceway installations in residential and commercial electrical systems.
Installation is performed by a licensed electrician in accordance with NEC requirements for EMT raceway systems. De-energize all circuits and verify power is off before working at any panel or enclosure. Insert the conduit into the connector body and tighten the setscrew or coupling nut firmly against the tubing before securing the connector to the enclosure knockout with the locknut. Avoid over-tightening, which can deform the conduit end or damage the connector body.
