The HALEX 20511 is a clamp-type box connector designed for securing non-metallic sheathed cable to electrical enclosures. The die-cast zinc body provides solid construction suitable for residential and light commercial wiring applications. It features a 3/8 inch trade size with a 1/2 inch knockout entry and accommodates a maximum wire size of No. 10-3 cable. Two clamping screws hold the cable securely in place without damaging the sheath. This connector is UL listed and sold in a 5-pack, making it practical for panel and junction box work where multiple connections are required. Licensed electricians and electrical contractors are the primary installers of this fitting.
This connector is used in residential and light commercial electrical installations where non-metallic sheathed cable must be terminated at a metal box or enclosure. The 1/2 inch knockout size is one of the most common in standard electrical boxes, making this connector a routine stock item for rough-in wiring, panel connections, and junction box assembly. The 5-pack format suits service calls and new construction where multiple runs terminate at a single location.
Designed for use with non-metallic sheathed cable up to No. 10-3 in enclosures with 1/2 inch knockouts, consistent with standard residential and light commercial metal electrical boxes.
Installation should be performed by a licensed electrician in accordance with the National Electrical Code (NEC). De-energize the circuit and verify with a voltage tester before working inside any electrical enclosure. Insert the connector body through the knockout and secure the locknut firmly before tightening the clamping screws onto the cable sheath. Do not overtighten the clamping screws, as this can damage the cable jacket or conductors.
