The HAILIANG AMERICA ACR-20X3/4 is a 3/4-inch hard copper ACR tube supplied in a 20-foot length, purpose-built for air conditioning and refrigeration line set work. ACR-grade copper tubing is manufactured to tighter dimensional tolerances than standard plumbing copper and is cleaned, dried, and capped at the factory to maintain internal cleanliness for refrigerant service. At 7.24 pounds per stick, this straight-length hard tube is well-suited for field fabrication where bending is not required. HVAC-R technicians and plumbing contractors use hard copper ACR tubing for suction and liquid line runs, condensate piping, and other refrigerant system connections.
This tubing is appropriate for residential and light commercial HVAC and refrigeration installations where a rigid, straight-length run is needed. The 20-foot stick length is a standard field length that works with sweat, braze, or flare fittings. It is commonly installed in split-system air conditioners, heat pumps, commercial refrigeration equipment, and chilled-water applications where copper is the specified material. A licensed HVAC-R technician or plumber typically performs the installation in accordance with local mechanical codes.
Designed as an OEM-style field-supply copper tube for residential and commercial HVAC-R systems requiring 3/4-inch hard copper ACR tubing in straight-length runs.
Installation of copper ACR tubing should be performed by a licensed HVAC-R technician or journeyman plumber familiar with applicable mechanical and refrigeration codes. Recover all refrigerant from any existing system before opening lines, in compliance with EPA Section 608 regulations. Use a pipe cutter sized for copper tube and ream cut ends to full interior diameter before brazing, swaging, or flaring. Keep tube ends capped until connection to prevent contamination of the refrigerant circuit.
