The GWS 311446 is a 5-flute, solid carbide square end mill designed for high-performance milling in ferrous and non-ferrous materials. It carries an AlCrO-MAX finish, which improves heat resistance and extends tool life in demanding cutting conditions. The 1/4 inch diameter, 1 inch length of cut, and 3 inch overall length make this a compact, versatile tool suited to profiling, slotting, and contouring operations. The 38-degree helix angle and upcut flute geometry promote efficient chip evacuation, while centercutting capability allows direct plunge entry without a pre-drilled pilot hole.
