The GWS 310458 is a solid carbide corner radius end mill designed for high-performance metal removal in demanding machining applications. It features a 3/4 inch cutting diameter, a 1-5/8 inch length of cut, and a 0.06 inch corner radius that reduces stress concentration at the cutting edge and extends tool life in ferrous materials. With 4 flutes, a variable helix, and variable index geometry, this end mill is built for both roughing and finishing passes in a single tool. The straight cylindrical shank measures 3/4 inch in diameter with an h6 tolerance for precise toolholder fit. Overall length is 4 inches.

This end mill is suited for machining steel, stainless steel, superalloys, titanium, and cast iron. It is a center-cutting design, allowing plunge entry into the workpiece. The right-hand flute direction and right-hand cutting orientation make it compatible with standard CNC milling centers and manual mills equipped with right-hand spindle rotation. The FX3 coating classification and submicron carbide grade support extended tool life when working with hard and abrasive workpiece materials. It is intended for use with standard end mill toolholders.

Installation Notes
