The GUHRING 9199550127000 is a solid carbide square end mill designed for precision milling in demanding industrial and machining applications. With a 0.5-inch mill diameter, 2-inch length of cut, and a 30-degree helix angle, this single-end tool is built for consistent material removal and tight tolerances. The FIREX coating provides enhanced heat resistance and extended tool life in abrasive cutting conditions. Three helical flutes in a right-hand cutting and flute direction promote chip evacuation and reduce vibration during operation. This tool is center-cutting, allowing for direct plunge entry.
The 9199550127000 is suited for use in CNC machining centers and manual mills across a range of workpiece materials. Per the manufacturer workpiece material codes, it is rated for cast iron and hardened materials (K), stainless steel (M), non-ferrous metals (N), steel (P), and secondary use in superalloys (S). The long-length profile and straight-cylindrical shank make it a strong choice for applications requiring extended reach into deep pockets or slots in production environments.
Designed as an OEM-specification solid carbide square end mill in GUHRING Series 19955, suitable for use in standard straight-cylindrical collet chucks and end mill holders accepting a 0.5-inch shank diameter. Compatible workpiece materials include cast iron, stainless steel, non-ferrous metals, steel, and superalloys per manufacturer material codes K, M, N, P, and S.
Installation is performed by qualified machinists or CNC setup technicians. Secure the straight-cylindrical shank in a clean, properly sized collet or end mill holder and torque the drawbar or collet nut to the spindle manufacturer's specification before use. Inspect the tool and holder for runout before beginning a cut. Do not exceed the tool's rated cutting parameters for the workpiece material; consult GUHRING cutting data tables for appropriate speeds and feeds.
