The GUHRING 9068750095200 is a solid carbide corner chamfer end mill designed for precision metal removal in demanding machining applications. Built on the Series 6875 platform, this single-end mill features a 3/8-inch cutting diameter, 4 helical flutes, and a 45-degree chamfer angle with a 0.0040-inch chamfer width. The TiAlSiN PVD nano-Si coating provides thermal resistance and wear protection for extended tool life. The variable helix geometry reduces chatter and improves surface finish across a wide range of cuts. Centercutting capability and coolant-through design make this tool suitable for high-efficiency operations. This end mill is rated for use on steel, stainless steel, cast iron, superalloys, and titanium as primary workpiece materials, with non-ferrous metals as a secondary application. Installation and tool changes should be performed by a qualified machinist with the spindle fully stopped and the machine in a locked-out state per applicable shop safety procedures. Ensure the collet or toolholder bore is clean and free of chips before seating the shank. Verify runout after clamping, as excessive runout accelerates wear on fine-geometry end mills. Consult the machine tool manufacturer and applicable OSHA or ANSI standards for cutting speed and feed guidelines specific to the workpiece material and spindle type.
